H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche was, and continues to be, a jewel of the Dharma and a source of the precious transmission of the lineage to the thousands of people he taught in North and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe. His ceaseless activities manifested while challenging ordinary physical limitations. His teachings, which included Maha, Anu and Ati Yoga, were expressed through his warm and wonderful voice. His mind was clear and vast and able to spontaneously display maternal compassion, wrath like lightning, and whatever else could benefit sentient beings. His human qualities included determination, humor and, above all, loyalty. Rinpoche refused to disappoint anyone who depended on him for guidance, both in life and after his passing on November 17, 2002. Since his parinirvana in Brazil, the connection between Rinpoche's intention and the devotion of his students has been powerfully maintained.
