The Lamas teach us that we must take advantage of our precious human life to accumulate merit, wisdom, and purify karma. Vajrasattva practice is superb, and can be easily applied in everyday life for the purification of karma.
Throughout countless rebirths we have been driven to act through the poisons of the mind. As such, we have sown all kinds of non-virtue, producing negative karma, and the result of these actions is manifested in the difficulties and sufferings we experience in our lives.
Vajrasattva is the deity who, by realizing how beings become lost in their non-virtues, committed himself to purify his karmic obscurations, hoping that the mere remembrance of his name could free all beings from the depths of cyclic existence.
Tis Wednesday (May 20), at 7 pm, we will have the good fortune of receiving instructions from Lama Tsering on the practice of Vajrasattva, a powerful meditation that purifies our karma and assists us on the path to enlightenment.
