Refuge and Bodhicitta Vow, with Lama Tsering
To begin the year with the right motivation, on January 1st, 2022, we will have Cocise Red Tara Practice at 8am (UTC-3) and Lama Tsering will give the vows of Refuge and Bodhicitta at 10 am (UTC-3), on-line. This event can only be watched live. There will be no recording.
In the vow of Refuge, one formally commits to following the teachings of the Buddha, taking refuge in the Three Jewels (the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha). In the Bodhicitta vow, one makes the commitment to work for the benefit of all beings and to minimise their suffering.
By making this commitment, the practitioner makes a firm decision to train their own mind, avoiding negativity and committing to practice virtue until all beings attain Enlightenment.
Those who have taken these vows previously are invited to renew them.

The vows will be given in English and translated simultaneously into Portuguese, Spanish and French.
