The Ngondro are the preliminary practices of Tibetan Buddhism, and are considered to be the alphabet with which the student will write their whole spiritual practice.

The practices are intense and require a commitment, including a physical one, from those who engage on this path. Taking this commitment into consideration, even beginners may participate.

It is said that the Ngondro purifies obscurations and prepares the mind to receive and absorb the highest teachings.

Lama Tsering will lead the teachings and instructions on the Ngondro in 6 sessions, at the Urban Centre in São Paulo and at the Temple (see below). The Guru Rinpoche Empowerment will be given, necessary for one of the mantra accumulations.

(Partial participation is possible, although the cycle is given as a whole and full participation is recommended.)

Urban Centre: Wednesdays (dates are 13, 20 and 27/1), from 8pm to 10pm

Temple: Sundays (dates are 17, 24 and 31/1), from 2pm to 5pm
