The Djetsun prayer made in concise Tara practice is one of the greatest gifts that Chagdud Rinpoche has given us. Because of his deep connection and devotion, Rinpoche received the Djetsun prayer directly from Tara, along with the instruction: "ask them to do this".

New practitioners, those who participated in module 1 of the Tara retreat and those who are accumulating Djetsuns are invited to participate in this retreat, bringing in their hearts the aspiration that all the obstacles and suffering that beings experience can be removed, that the most auspicious causes and conditions can be brought together, and that all beings can experience the temporary and definitive happiness that is ultimate enlightenment.

This is a practice retreat, so there will be no teachings.

You don't need to have received Tara empowerment to take part, but you do need to know how to say the Djetsun prayer in the context of concise Red Tara practice.

As well as the opportunity to do their practice and accumulation, participants will have the chance to learn about the Temple's routine and its functions and experience living in a Dharma community.

Participation is in person only and free of charge. The offering is for meals and lodging only.

If you have any questions, please write to: [email protected]
