Ngöndro Practice Retreats
During the holidays over Easter (Friday April 7 to Sunday April 9), Tiradentes (Friday, April 21 to Sunday, April 23) and Labor Day (Saturday, April 29 to Monday, May 1), students who are doing their Ngöndro, the preliminary practices of Tibetan Buddhism, will have 3 daily sessions of practices at the Temple.
The Ngöndro practice sessions will be organized as follows (UTC-3)
• Session 1: 9 am to 12 pm (On Sundays 9.30am to 12pm)
• Session 2: 2 pm to 5:30 pm
• Session 3: 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm
* Saturday, April 29th is Guru Rinpoche's day. Therefore, session 2 will go until 4pm and there will be a Shower of Blessings Tsog at 7pm instead of session 3.
Each person will do their own accumulation, but the idea of group practice is to give and receive the support of the sangha. The presence of the sangha, committed to the same path, helps to inspire us and remind us of the precious Ngöndro teachings received from Lama Tsering and other masters.
It is not necessary to participate every day. You can select the days that are convenient for you.
