The Jetsun prayer given in the concise Tara practice is one of the greatest gifts Chagdud Rinpoche gave us. Because of his deep connection and devotion, Rinpoche received the Jetsun prayer directly from Tara, along with the instruction, ‘Ask them to do this.’
This retreat is open to everyone, but is especially aimed at those who are interested in or new to the Red Tara practice.
In addition to practice sessions, this retreat includes important activities for those who want to become familiar with the practice:
- Study groups: participants will be able to clarify doubts and learn about the elements involved in practicing Tara, such as: the sequence of pages, the use of bells and dorjes, melodies, the use of musical instruments, etc.
- Online teachings, available on the Odsal Ling Campus platform, on how to accumulate the Djetsun prayer in the context of the concise Red Tara practice. Everyone should watch this content before participating in the retreat.
It is not necessary to have received Tara empowerment to participate, but it is necessary to know how to do the Djetsun prayer in the context of the concise Red Tara practice.

There will be a long Red Tara retreat from December 23 to 31, but you can participate only in the Djetsun accumulation retreat.

On the 23rd there will be an accumulation session only in the morning, from 9am to 12pm (UTC-3).
The Long Red Tara retreat will begin in the afternoon with a teaching session by Lama Tsering, at a time to be determined.
- Smoking is not allowed inside or outside the Temple
- Do not lie down in the practice and teaching area
- Don't point your feet at statues, lamas or sacred objects
- Don't walk over sacred texts, practice objects or benches
- Do not place texts directly on the floor
You must reserve a parking space when you register and wait for confirmation by email from the events area.
As our parking is limited, we strongly suggest that participants share rides.
