On Sunday morning (June 21) there will be a solar eclipse, and during this period we will be doing the "Shower of blessings" meditation practice at Odsal Ling, with an online broadcast for all the Sangha.
In the tradition of Vajrayana Buddhism, eclipses are favorable moments for meditation, because on these occasions the subtle energies of our body are harmonized. It is also said that the result of our thoughts, words, and actions are enhanced.
This Sunday also marks the last day of Saga Dawa, so this is an extraordinary gathering of causes and conditions to accumulate merit and dedicate it for the benefit of all beings.
