Refuge and Bodhichitta vow, with Lama Tsering
To start the year with the right motivation, on January 1, 2026, at 9:30 am (UTC-3), Lama Tsering will grant the vows of Refuge and Bodhichitta.
In the vow of Refuge, the person formally commits to following the Buddha's teachings, taking refuge in the Three Jewels (the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha). In the Bodhichitta vow, the commitment is made to work for the benefit of all beings and to strive to minimize their suffering.
In making this commitment, the practitioner makes a firm decision to train their own mind, avoiding negativity and striving to practice virtue until all beings reach enlightenment.
Those who have taken these vows before are invited to renew them.
In person only.
No prerequisites.
There is no set offering amount. It is traditional to make an offering directly to the Lama after the ceremony, using an envelope provided on site, or via pix, to be informed. No offering is too small.
You must confirm your attendance by December 31 at noon.
