At the beginning of 2018, Lama Tsering will conduct intensive teachings on Ngondro, the preliminary practices of Vajrayana Buddhism.
The Ngondro practice is for those who intend to devote themselves intensely to a spiritual path, since it contains many accumulations of mantras and prostrations.
It is considered the foundation of Vajrayana Buddhism, upon which the student will rely, as their practice matures over the years.
By diligently devoting oneself to the Ngondro, negative obscurations and karma are purified, creating the proper conditions for receiving higher teachings.
Lama Tsering will give the teachings from January 3 to 7, and students will be encouraged to continue practicing in the Temple until January 28 in formal daily meditation sessions.
IMPORTANT: Those who have completed the accumulation of Tara's Obstacle Removal Prayer ("Djetsum") will receive special instructions.
