In his teachings, Buda Shakyamuni told that life is a dream. He compared all existing phenomena to the reflex of the moon in a lake, to a rainbow in the sky and to an echo. There was nothing in there who really existed, contrary to what our perceptions erroneously make us believe.
The Dream Yoga is a method that helps us to investigate these profound teachings and to experience them in our own life. To dissipate the illusions fabricated by the mind and to eliminate habits that leads us to suffering requires a diligent training from us. Dream Yoga is one of the most direct and efficient practices from Vajrayana Buddhism to helps us in this task.
The retreat starts at night on 9/23, followed by two days of intensive teachings given by Lama Tsering – known for her realization in the practice of Dream Yoga, included in the Red Tara’s cycle given to her by her master, Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche.
After the teachings, those who wish could stay at the temple for five days (from 9/26 to 9/30) to do the practice of Dream Yoga, following Lama Tsering instructions.
“May I clearly perceive all experiences to be as insubstantial as the dream fabric of the night and instantly awaken to perceive the pure wisdom display in the arising of every phenomenon.”
