Enlightenment manifests through countless Buddhas, yet no aspiration or blessings surpass those of Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha enables us to be reborn in his Pure Land of Bliss, where we can radiate benefit and compassion to countless sentient beings simultaneously. In the Pure Land, we follow the path to Buddhahood unfailingly, with no turning back. We realize the nature of our own mind as inseparable from the nature of Amitabha.
Chagdud Khadro will grant the Amitabha empowerment on August 22, in the morning, at 9am (UTC-3).
The empowerment is part of the Nyungne retreat, but you may attend this ceremony alone.

Accommodation at Odsal Ling will be prioritized for participants in the Niungne retreat, as accommodation is mandatory for them. For this reason, we cannot guarantee accommodation availability for those attending only the Empowerment. The accommodation waiting list is available exclusively to participants who reside outside the city of São Paulo. If you meet this criterion and would like to be placed on the waiting list for a possible accommodation vacancy, please select the option in the enrolment page.
An empowerment is a ceremony in which the master authorizes the student to engage in Vajrayana meditation, transmitting to them the blessings of the lineage of a particular practice.
It is said that receiving an empowerment from a realized lama plants the seeds of enlightenment in our mind, creating the causes for us to reveal our true nature.

Please remove your shoes and hat before entering the meditation hall.
Photography, recording, or filming inside the meditation hall or during the teachings is not permitted.
Do not touch the objects or musical instruments belonging to the practitioners.
Do not point your feet toward statues, lamas, or sacred objects.
Do not step over sacred texts, practice objects, or benches.
You must reserve a parking spot at the time of registration and wait for confirmation via email from the events department.
Since our parking is limited, we strongly encourage participants to carpool.
