Ciranda do Darma was originally created in response to a request from Rinpoche that the children of the sangha receive an education in the principles of the Dharma.
Rinpoche strongly believed that the values of love and compassion for all beings could be taught even to the youngest children through stories.
Since its establishment in 2002, this method of demonstrating virtuous qualities through stories and group activities has been the main focus of Ciranda do Darma.
Children of all ages are welcome and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times while at the Temple.
