4. Relationships and the spiritual path

In this teaching, Lama Tsering talks about relationships and where they fit into the spiritual path.

Any situation can become an opportunity to train the mind, but relationships can be a very fertile field for this. With relationships, we have the chance to develop our most altruistic qualities and confront the darker aspects of our ordinary mind.

Is it possible to have a relationship without placing great hopes in the other and without succumbing to the fear of isolation? How can we use our interactions correctly and thereby mature spiritually?
