DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width="2/3"][vc_column_text] \nStudy cycle on the book: Does the guru drink bourbon?\nLama Tsering will lead this study cycle on Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche's book\, which addresses various aspects of the teacher-student relationship through many stories and classic examples\, always emphasizing the importance of devotion to the teacher. \nThe meetings include reading the text\, comments by Lama Tsering\, and question and answer sessions. \n  \n“Choosing a guru and making the decision to follow him to enlightenment is as precarious\, exciting\, rewarding\, and destructive as falling in love and getting married. You know it's risky\, but that's exactly what breaks us in half and opens us up.” \nDzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche \n  \nThe sessions will take place on Thursdays and Sundays as part of an ongoing study\, but you can attend as many sessions as you can\, even if you missed previous ones. \nPrerequisite: having received an empowerment. \nIn-person and online. \nLive only.
